Dedicated to the Traditional Practice
Founder & Lead Teacher
Daria Ralko is a former professional ballroom dancer, teacher, and choreographer who transitioned to the path of Ashtanga Yoga in 2019, establishing her practice in Miami, Florida. Guided by discipline, truth, and compassion, her approach reflects an unwavering devotion to the traditional method of Ashtanga Yoga. For Daria, being present for others—on their best and worst days—is not only a value, but a calling.
Inspired by the transformative power of the practice in her own life, Daria immersed herself in study, receiving her API certification from AYA & Miami Life Center. Since then, she has remained rooted in daily practice and service - assisting, learning, and teaching within the Miami Ashtanga community.
Her ongoing studies have taken her across the globe, learning from revered teachers such as David Swenson, Ty Landrum, Eddie Stern and many others. Her teaching is grounded in experience, refined by discipline, and enriched by humility.
Now based in Fort Lauderdale, Daria is the founder and lead teacher of Ashtanga Yoga Fort Lauderdale, where she holds a steady space in the Mysore room. Her Shala offers more than instruction - it is a home for sincere seekers, a place of refuge, discipline, and deep connection. With care and precision, she supports students in cultivating a safe, consistent, and heartfelt practice rooted in the lineage of Ashtanga Yoga.
We believe in preserving the traditional Ashtanga method while adapting to individual needs. Every student receives personalized attention, whether in Mysore-style practice or led classes. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where students can develop a sustainable, lifelong practice that extends beyond the mat.
