I started going to this Shala about a month ago and have found Daria and Alex to be very good people. I consider Daria to have a strong passion for Ashtanga yoga, and is dedicated to serve her students. Initially she was interested in my goals and my why for practicing. She shows that she wants to be a catalyst for my growth, and seems to do a great job at molding to the unique needs of each student. For me, she has been motivating and direct (which I need for my discipline) while also being empathetic and personable. Very glad I found this growing community. And they're moving to a cool new studio right near the beach.

Daria's classes are deeply enriching, showing that yoga is more than just movement - it's a mindset and a way of life. She beautifully integrates this philosophy into her teaching. Not to mention, she is one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of knowing!

I'm thrilled that Daria and Alex founded Ashtanga Yoga Fort Lauderdale. Daria is passionate and attentive during the weekday Mysore classes and leads the sessions on Saturdays. I practice Ashtanga yoga because of its numerous mental and physical benefits. Daria helps us safely flow into a movement meditation. For me, practicing yoga early in the morning, at 6 AM, fits perfectly with my busy lifestyle. This time allows me to engage in practice early and prepares me for a wonderful day. I feel re-energized, centered, and balanced, which makes the day worthwhile.

Such a lovely Ashtanga Shala! Daria is an exceptional teacher who is deeply knowledgeable about the Ashtanga lineage and committed to preserving its authenticity. She provides invaluable support during Mysore sessions, offering thoughtful adjustments, clear guidance, and detailed explanations about the poses you're working on. The Led classes are both engaging and enjoyable. I'm truly happy to be a part of this wonderful community!

Really outstanding studio: Daria is very patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about teaching ashtanga and I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from her. I would highly recommend this studio for anyone curious about ashtanga yoga.

I have practiced with Daria's guidance some time now. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and she gives very good verbal and hands on assistance for the practice of Ashtanga Yoga!
